Who can Enroll into the DAT Program
This program is ideal for:
1.Individuals with visual impairments who are passionate about technology and making the digital world accessible for everyone.
2.Graduates with any bachelor’s degree seeking a rewarding career in a growing field.
3.Individuals proficient in verbal/written English and basic computer usage with good knowledge of MS Office and internet usage.
4.Experienced users of screen readers like NVDA or JAWS and touch screen phones with Talkback/Voiceover.
5.Committed learners with 15-20 hours per week to dedicate to coursework and active participation.
Course Training Details:
- Mode:
Learn online via Zoom from the comfort of your home or at our Physical Training Centre’s - Duration:
5 Months; 3 Batches a year. - Sessions:
Engage in sessions thrice a week –every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. - Guidance and Monitoring:
Benefit from continuous support and monitoring on weekdays for homework, assignments, and practical assessments. - Submission Policy:
Timely submission of homework assignments is essential. Extensions are possible for special cases, subject to the trainer’s recommendation and consultation with the program coordinator. - Course Focus:
Immerse yourself in WCAG 2.2 (Level AA) HTML, CSS and ARIA through live scenario practice sessions. - Time Commitment:
Upon admission, commit to regular attendance without exception. Missing more than two classes without prior written permission from the program coordinator may result in removal from the course. - Administrative Cost:
An administrative fee of Rs. 5000 is applicable. - Selection Criteria:
Join us through a two-step process involving an interview and a written test. Only selected candidates will have the opportunity to enrol in this transformative program.
